Sam ASLLANI
A Swiss painter born in 1969 in Mitrovica (Kosovo).
It was only 1993 when he landed on the shores of Lake Geneva in Lausanne. From his young age, endowed with a real vocation, Asllani was captivated by the universe of drawing. At school, his copybook was filled with sketches of his surrounding world. Very early, he was quickly noticed for his talent as a draftsman: his sketches and his satires were regularly published in the main daily newspapers of the country.
As he entered the gates to the Fine-Arts, Asllani abandoned caricature to devote himself totally to painting. Inspired by surrealism, his work unfolds between visions, universes and dreamlike delusions. His paintings bring life back to a forgotten world, that of tales, myths and popular legends.
Wavering between deep artistic reflection and a profusion of exhilarating feelings, each painting is like a high point, a temporary suspension of passing time. Each painting is a deep sigh of joy, anger or sadness.
The precision and regularity of his Chinese ink line delicately reveal the chiaroscuro of his paintings. His pen traces both the power of a landscape and the softness of a woman’s curves. When Asllani touches on the infinitely small, he brings into resonance the vestiges of the past.
Large acrylic paintings in dazzling colours, enriched with a multitude of arabesques in black ink, characterize this evolution. The sometimes-tormented landscapes, the characters and objects depicted in a realistic or allegorical way, arouse intense emotions in the spectator by the variety of subjects presented.
Guided by his feelings, the various periods of his life have been laid down on canvas. The circumstances of life at the time of his youth influenced the appearance of dark and cold shadows, brightening over the years, to deliver lighter and brighter paintings, with always in the watermark, a totally recognizable style.
His work has been exhibited in many galleries in Switzerland, as well in Italy, France, United States, Luxembourg, Germany, and USA.
Critics portray Asllani as a „uniquely styled“ painter.

Schweizer Maler geboren im Jahre 1969 in Mitrovica, Kosovo, 1993 zieht er nach Lausanne. Das künstlerische Leben von Allani beginnt bereits in frühen Jahren. Somit füllt er schon in der Schule in seinem Dorf seine Textbücher mit Zeichnungen. Sein Talent wird rasch von mehreren Tageszeitungen erkannt, welche seine Karikaturen und Illustrationen veröffentlichen. Als er jedoch die Kunstschule beginnt legt er die Karikaturen ab, um sich vollkommen der Malerei zu widmen. Asllanis Werke reflektieren eine konstante Entwicklung künstlerischen Denkens und des Ausdrucks von Emotionen. Die Anfänge, die Zeit der Einführung und Entstehung, sind stark vom Surrealismus inspiriert. Das Merkmal seiner Malerei ist die methodische Anwendung der harmonischen Linie aus Tusche. Mithilfe einer Schreibfeder zeichnet er präzise Spuren, unterstreicht die Formen und bekräftigt dessen Distinktivität. Es folgt eine Periode der Entwicklung der künstlerischen Identitätdurch die Lehre der Farben im Zusammenspiel mit Formen. Die Synthese der Erfahrungen, auf der einen Seite mit der Tusche, und auf der anderen seite mit den Farben, führen zu bemerkenswerten Werken mit einzigartigem Stil.
Diese Entwicklung wird von grossen Akrylgemälden aus leuchtenden Farben, bereichert mit unzähligen Arabesken aus Tusche, charakterisiert. Zum Teil düstere Landschaften und realistische oder gar allegorische Charakteren und Objekte lösen bei der Audienz intensive Emotionen aus, der Vielzahl seiner präsentierten Sujets wegen. Die verschiedenen Lebensabschnitte und dessen ausgelöste Gefühle spiegeln sich auf Asllanis Gemälden wieder. Die Lebensumstände seiner jungen Jahre beeinflussen das Erscheinen von dunklen und kalten Schatten, welche aber im Laufe der Jahre erhellen, um ein leichteres und erleuchteteres Werk zu erschaffen, immer noch zwischen den Zeilen im gleichen wiedererkennbarem Stile. Seine Werke wurden in Zahlreichen Galerien in der Schweiz, sowie im Ausland ausgestellt. Dieser Stil wird von Kritikern als «Asllani Stil» gekennzeichnet

Peintre suisse né en 1969 à Mitrovica (Kosovo).Ce n’est qu’en 1993 qu’il débarque sur les rives du lac Léman à Lausanne. Dès son plus jeune âge, offert d’une véritable vocation, Asllani est captivé par l’univers du dessin. A l’école, son cahier d’écriture est rempli de croquis sur le monde qui l’entoure. Très précoce, il est vite remarqué pour son talent de dessinateur: ses croquis et ses satires sont régulièrement publiés dans les principaux quotidiens du pays.
La porte des Beaux-Arts à peine franchie, Asllani abandonne la caricature pour se dévouer totalement à la peinture. Inspirée par le surréalisme, son œuvre se déploie entre visions, univers et délires oniriques. Ses toiles redonnent vie à un monde oublié, celui des contes, des mythes et des légendes populaires.
Vacillant entre une réflexion artistique profonde et une profusion de sentiments exaltants, chaque tableau est comme un point d’orgue, une suspension passagère du temps qui file. Chaque tableau est un profond soupir de joie, de colère ou de tristesse.
La précision et la régularité de son trait à l’encre de Chine dévoilent avec délicatesse le clair-obscur de ses peintures. Sa plume trace aussi bien la puissance d’un paysage que la douceur des courbes d’une femme. Lorsqu ‚Asllani touche à l’infiniment petit, il fait entrer en résonance les vestiges du passé.
Les grands tableaux à l’acrylique et aux couleurs éclatantes, enrichissent d’une multitude d’arabesques à l’encre noire, caractérisent cette évolution. Les paysages parfois tourmentés, les personnages et objets dépeints de manière réaliste ou allégorique, suscités chez le spectateur des émotions intenses par la variété des sujets présentés.Guidé par ses sentiments, les diverses périodes de sa vie ont été couchées sur toile. Les circonstances de la vie à l’époque de la jeunesse ont influencé l’apparition des ombres sombres et froides, s’éclaircissant au fil des ans, pour livrer des tableaux plus légers et lumineux, avec toujours en filigrane, un style totalement reconnaissable . Son œuvre a été exposée dans de nombreuses galeries en Suisse, mais aussi en Italie, France, Les États – Unis , Luxembourg et Allemagne.
Les critiques dépeignent Asllani comme un peintre „au style unique“.

Piktor zviceran i lindur në vitin 1969 në Mitrovicë (Kosovë).
Vetëm diku pas vitit 1993 ai zbarkoi në brigjet e Liqenit të Gjenevës në Lozanë.
Që në moshë shumë të re, i pajisur me një prirje të vërtetë artistike, Asllani ishte mahnitur nga bota e vizatimit. Në shkollë, fletorja e tij e shkrimit ishte e mbushur me skica që për temë kishin mjedisin që e rrethonte. Ai u dallua shumë herët për talentin e tij si vizatues: skicat dhe satirat e tij u botuan rregullisht në gazetat kryesore ditore të vendit.
Sapo u fut në botën e Arteve të Bukura, Asllani braktisi karikaturën për t’iu përkushtuar tërësisht pikturës. I frymëzuar nga surrealizmi, vepra e tij shtrihej midis vizioneve, universeve dhe dëlirëve ëndërrimtare. Pëlhurat e tij do të rikthejnë në jetë një botë të harruar, atë të përrallave, miteve dhe legjendave popullore.
Depërtues përmes reflektimeve të thella artistike dhe morisë së ndjenjave të ekzaltuara e bën çdo pikturë të jetë si një pikë kulmore, një ndalje momentale të rrjedhjes së kohës. Çdo pikturë është një psherëtimë e thellë gëzimi, zemërimi ose trishtimi.
Saktësia dhe rregullsia e vijës së tij të zezë zbulon në mënyrë delikate dritë-hijen e pikturave të tija. Pena e tij përvijon njëkohësisht dhe bukur fuqinë e një peizazhi ashtu edhe butësinë e formave të një gruaje. Kur Asllani prek pafundësisht imtësitë, ai sjellë në rezonancë gjurmët e së kaluarës.
Tablot e mëdha akrilike me ngjyra të shndritshme, të pasuruara me një mori arabeskash me ngjyrë të zezë, e karakterizojnë këtë evolucion. Peizazhet ndonjëherë të trazuara, personazheve dhe objekteve të përshkruara në mënyrë realiste ose alegorike, ngjallin emocione të mëdha te shikuesit përmes shumëllojshmërisë së subjekteve të paraqitura.
Gjithnjë i udhëhequr nga ndjenjat e tija, periudhat e ndryshme të jetës së tij janë paraqitur në pëlhurë. Rrethanat e jetës në rininë e tij ndikuan në paraqitjen e hijeve të errëta dhe të ftohta në veprën e tij. Por me kalimin e kohës vijnë duke u bërë më të kthjellëta, për të na dhënë edhe piktura më të lehta dhe të ndritshme, por gjithnjë me filigran, një stil krejtësisht të njohur.
Vepra e tij është ekspozuar në galeri të shumta në Zvicër, e poashtu në Itali, Francë, Luksemburg, Gjermani dhe USA.
Kritikët e artit e përshkruajnë Asllanin si një piktor „me stil unikat“.
